The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa organised a scientific workshop entitled “Stock Market Pioneers”, attended by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr Nowfal Al-Araji, and a number of specialists in financial and economic affairs, to discuss the impact of current crises on global markets.
The workshop addressed the key challenges facing stock markets and their implications for share movements and financial indices, as well as strategies for adapting to economic fluctuations and enhancing market stability. It also presented practical insights into understanding the dynamics of financial markets in times of crisis.
This activity forms part of the University’s ongoing efforts to develop economic awareness among students and strengthen their understanding of market changes, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, through promoting financial literacy and encouraging responsible investment thinking, and Goal 4: Quality Education, by delivering applied academic activities that keep pace with global economic developments.
The workshop witnessed notable engagement from participants, with constructive academic discussions contributing to a deeper understanding of financial markets and the importance of flexible strategies in responding to economic crises.
