The College of Media at Warith Al-Anbiya University launches a practical program and emphasizes digital skills for students of the Digital Media Department.

The College of Media at Warith Al-Anbiya University, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, launched a new training program to develop the digital skills of its students. This initiative aims to enhance their capabilities in the areas of electronic editing, content creation, and dealing with digital platforms, in line with the requirements of the modern media environment.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Jamal Al-Taif, said, "The program includes a series of practical workshops for second-year students in the Digital Media Department that will last for several weeks," noting that the workshops focus on digital writing skills in the field of preparing and editing digital journalistic interviews.

He added that "the program comes in response to the transformations taking place in contemporary media, and in line with the university's mission to develop students' capabilities and raise the level of their skills," while stressing at the same time that "editing skills in the digital environment now require familiarity with digital tools and interactive presentation methods."

In a related context, Professor Walaa Al-Saffar, a faculty member at the college, indicated that "the program targets second-year students with the aim of preparing them for the media job market and enabling them to utilize modern technologies to produce more rapid, accurate, and widely disseminated journalistic content." He pointed out that "the training plan includes a practical component that simulates the work environment within digital media institutions."

He added that this type of program represents a necessary response to the ongoing changes in the structure of journalistic practice, especially with the increasing reliance on digital media as a primary source for news and media content.

This development comes at a time when there is a growing need for journalists who can produce, edit, publish, and monitor audience interaction with content simultaneously, ma
