Emotional Intelligence and Influential Leadership for Women in the Workplace
A training workshop entitled “Emotional Intelligence and Influential Leadership for Women in the Workplace” was conducted by Assistant Lecturers Khatam Mohammed Hamza and Doaa Shaker Kazem, with the aim of developing leadership skills and enhancing women’s competencies in modern work environments. The workshop addressed the concept of emotional intelligence as a fundamental pillar of professional success, focusing on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to build effective professional relationships based on understanding and communication. It also highlighted the role of influential leadership in empowering women by strengthening their ability to positively impact work teams, encourage initiative, and support decision-making. The presenters emphasized the complementary relationship between emotional intelligence and effective leadership, noting that these skills contribute to improved institutional performance and the creation of a supportive and motivating work environment. The workshop concluded by stressing the importance of investing in the development of women’s leadership capacities, thereby enhancing their role in achieving sustainable development and improving organizational performance.
